GOPHC 2010 Show High Point Award Criteria

GOPHC awards Show High Point and Reserve Show High Point awards at each show.  Awards are given based on Club Points earned by each exhibitor / horse combination for each of the following divisions; Youth 13 & Under, Youth 14 - 18 Years, Amateur, and Open.  In case of a tie,  the exhibitor with the most 1st place will win.

Club Points are calculated with the following formula:  1 participation point for each class you show in, PLUS 1 point for each horse you stand in front of based on each judges placings.  If there are less than 6 entires in the class, Club points will be awarded as if there were 6 entries.  

Each exhibitor / horse combination must enter a Halter class in the division they are going for High Point.    You must be a GOPHC member in good standing to be eligible for High Point Awards.

GOPHC awards Year End High Point and Reserve High Point awards.  Awards are given based on Club Points earned by each exhibitor / horse combination, at each show, for each of the following divisions; Halter Stallions, Halter Geldings, Halter Mares, Youth Lead Line, Youth Walk Trot, Youth 13 & Under, Youth 14 - 18 Years, Amateur, and Open.  In case of a tie, the exhibitor / horse combination that earned the most 1st places through out the year will be the winner. 

Club Points are calculated with the following formula:  1 participation point for each class you show in, PLUS 1 point for each horse you stand in front of based on each judges placings, at each show, if there is 6 or more in the class.  If less than 6 in the class,  points will be given as if there was 6 in class.  

  You must be a member of GOPHC to be eligible for High Point Awards and show in at least 3 of the GOPHC shows.
